He is a South African qualified attorney and notary (on the non-practising roll) and a chartered financial planner with a postgraduate diploma in Tax Law.
Louis has been engaged in legal advisory work for the last 13 years and has specialised in the fiduciary sector for the last eight years, with a main focus on South Africa and Guernsey.
Before joining Collas Crill Trust in 2022, Louis worked for a large South African bank as Senior Fiduciary Specialist for almost seven years before a short stint at a boutique Guernsey family office. Louis has experience in dealing with complex cross-border structures for ultra high-net-worth families and businesses and shares a keen interest in blockchain and fintech compliance.
